Geography Challenge

China is a vast country with a great variety of terrains. There are rainforests in the very far south, a great mountain range in the west, desert in the north-west and vast, flat, grasslands, called steppe, in the north. It is also home to many different and unusual animals. Yaks live in the Tibetan plateau, giant pandas roam around the bamboo forests of Sichuan and Siberian tigers prowl the forests of the very far north-east.
